Standing still and keybinding

I’ve been away from the game for half a year but I see the characters’ controls are still lacking on this fronts.

First of all the impossibility to rebind the “stand still” functionality: the shift key is very uncomfortable to press and release continuosly. An option to rebind it would be very welcome.

Secondly the mechanic of “stand still” itself: the moment I press the button, my character should stop walking and use the skill bound to the LMB. I should not have to release the LMB, press Shift, and then press LMB again.

I have to highly agree with this. I tend to play arpg’s by always holding down left click to move, then using the stand still key to cast in place for extended periods of time. Right now, stand still neither overrides the held left click, nor do we have a way to change the keybind. I would love it if both could be added, as I’ve gotten so used to this function from all other arpg’s.
