Nothing is worse than grinding for hours and gaining nothing worth your time. I have been trying to get temporal sanctum keys for a couple days now and i havent gotten a single one, i have killed over 200 rares that are lvl 58 or higher and not a single has dropped, i have also does echos where the reward was a key yet it was only arena keys never any other key, i dont know how low the drop chance for a temporal key is but it needs to have a stacking drop chance. Meaning that if it has a 1% drop chance from all rares lvl 58+ and you dont get one, it would go to 2% then 3% then 4% etc until you actually get one and then it resets. The fact that i have gotten 4 arena keys, 6 set items, 23 exalted items and 25 uniques and yet not a single sanctum key doesnt make sense.

RNG sucks. I’ve had ~2 in the 1-2 hours I’ve been in the appropriate levelled zones (monos).
Monolith Bosses have a significant chance of dropping dungeon keys.
The chance is geting massively increased by %inc. Item Rarity from having enemy modifiers active (and corrupion). Up to the point where bosses basically drop one key almost guaranteed and can also drop 2 keys.
It feels to me like they drop less often than they used to. Iam having the same problem you have. The last time i played however whas almost a year ago so maybe they changed something?

From my couple of hours in Patch 0.9 I don’t think they changed the drop rate of keys.

“200 rares” and how many mono runs is that? I kill a lot of rares per mono run.
And given that you only got 4 arena keys and not several of each of the other dungeon keys says that you have not done enough mono runs to have a good drop chance. Did you know the drop rate increases for harder monos?

i tried this by going further into the echo without doing quest echoes. It helps a lot. I guess iam still not far enough to get it more often and iam to squishy for now to go further ;).
