I was testing out the Roar of the Woodland node in the Spriggan form specialization tree and noticed that while it does change you to Bearform, it does not add 4 sec duration to your current thorn shields. The Voice of the Thicket node in the Bearform tree also does not add 5 thorn shields (unless you have an ally/minion nearby to receive some as well).
While this isn’t exactly build breaking it is a bit of a disappointment considering how high value these nodes would be for the builds that use them.
