SPLASH DAMAGE to mitigate dodge in monos and bosses

This reminds me of a thread where someone asked for mana leech.
Sure splash dmg can help out in certain situations and would definitly be appreciated. But once there is no draw back for a powerful mod like this, it’s going to be a BiS affix for every item simply because of qol reasons and you have to balance the whole game around one little addition to the game. Even though people always complain about PoE’s speed, everyone would take that mechanic for pure efficiency. It’s a no for me. There a AoE/clear and single target skills already in the game and you are able to choose between mono modifiers.

This also reminds me of problems that D3 has with performance due to splash damage. Supports in multiplayer don’t take it at the highest levels because it causes so many problems (some of which are performance in nature).
