Spire Echoes

Maybe not a bug, it could be intended, but it surprised me…

In a spire echo, if I completely clean an area (as in, no enemies on screen nor nearby), the spires stop firing. They only restart when I move close to a group of enemies.

I don’t mean just when I enter the echo, it happens at any point. I tested it on two different echoes and the spires stop whenever I kill all visible enemies.
