I just created a spellblade and equipped a 1h melee weapon. I have move/attack bound to the left mouse button but when I click on mobs, they are not attacked.
When you hover over the ‘Move or Attack’ icon you’ll see this;
Your 5th attack, Flash Freeze, may not be a targeted ability (of which I don’t exactly know what a “targeted ability” means).
When I play my Void knight, I have the same mapping for the left mouse button (move/attack) I can left click on an enemy and melee attack with the equipped weapon. I cannot melee attack an enemy with my spell blade with my equipped weapon. Is this class not able to make melee attacks?
My first thought is that Snap Freeze has a cooldown so it can’t be used if you hover over an enemy while it’s on cooldown. Though I tried it & no, it doesn’t seem as though the Spellblade will attack with the move/attack icon…
I tried with an acolyte & she attacked with my RMB when it was Harvest (a melee skill), Marrow Shards, Hungering Souls & Spirit Plague but not a spell (soul feast, wandering spirits), the primalist attacked with melee skills and Tornado (a spell), but not Maelstrom or Earthquake (a melee skill). My Sentinel attacked with some spells (Smite, Healing Hand) but not others (Abyssal Echoes, Devouring Orb or Volatile Reversal) or minions (Manifest Armour).
So it’s a bit odd. @Hackaloken
