Some thoughts to push warpath

I’ve been trying to get a decent Warpath Specc with the Sentinel for a long period of patches now and I keep ending up with the fact that I can pull enemies together well thanks to the “pull” node, but the damage just doesn’t feel good.

Currently I’m also using “Rive”, whose 3rd hit can be expanded enormously and converted to a guaranteed crit.
Unfortunately, Warpath can’t be used as a standalone skill at the moment. It doesn’t have to be, because Warpath combines good movement with aoe damage, but I still want to make a suggestion:

° The points needed to invest in the node to pull in enemies should be lowered from 4 to 2. This way, on the one hand, channeling costs don’t increase so much. On the other hand, there should be a new node that raises the tier of Warpath to 2 and 3 if you channel it for a certain amount of time, similar to what already exists with the skill “Disintegrate” from the Mage.

So it would be additionally rewarded if you put some nodes in reduced mana cost to be able to channel longer and finally do at least some more damage.

While I’m all up for improvements to Warpath, you absolutely can use it as a standalone skill. There are several builds on the forum (ignite warpath, bleed warpath, crit warpath) that all use it.

Personally the (or, a change) change I’d like to see is for the movement speed to vary dependant on how far from your character your cursor is, the closer it is the slower you move.
