Some Suggestions from Warlock Perspective

Crafting

  • Need a pity mechanism for chancing or other mechanisms to obtain specific uniques at cost.
    • Game seems to understand when a build needs specific uniques and will deny access until one is almost at empowered monoliths, even if relatively common.
    • e.g., first Pebbles Femur dropped at lv73, first Downfall of the Righteous chanced at lv75.

Acolyte

  • Some acolyte base skills still do not convert ailments with damage type.
    • E.g., Bone Curse and Transplant does not convert Bleed to Damned.
  • Swap order of base skills:
    • Move Wandering Spirits further back, bring Spirit Plague and Infernal Shade forward.

Warlock

  • Soul Feast Infernal Hunger should be a cooldown modifiable by cooldown speed.
  • Soul Feast Another Strife does not appear to have any logical principles. Why not spread all curses?
  • Soul Feast Hellmind should not be behind Poisoned Husks, or else it should also convert Poison to Damned.
  • Soul Feast should have the Curse tag.
  • Transplant should have the Curse tag if it applies curses.
  • More skills should have an option for partial conversion, or to add tags by adding damage of that type.
  • Overload should be refreshable before end of duration.
  • Converting Aura of Decay should also convert Defiling Nova.
  • Spirit Plague should inflict Damned instead of Bleed, with a physical damage conversion that converts Bleed to Damned. Plague should also convert Necrotic to Poison and Bleed or Damned to Poison.
  • Drain Life should have additional node or baseline stat that applies player Damned chance to Drain Life. Poison conversion should also convert Damned to Poison.

I think LE is already increbily leanient with build enabling equipment. There are very few build enabling uniques hard locked behind very high level content. And most build enabling uniques that are random drops are not very rare.

Pebbles Femur is incredibly common, to the point where it can drop multiple times before reaching monoliths. If you didn’t drop it directly before that, that is just unlucky.

Regarding Downfall of the Righteous, that is a level 70 relic that is decently common. It can’t evne drop before area level 70. How much did you try chancing it? Chancing relics is a tough slot with many many outcomes, so target farming it as soon as you run area level 70+ will give better results.

Also the game does not care for what build you play, there is a very minor affinity for some item types, but that does not affect unique or set items.
