Or they might be working except the stuff you would get from shrine appears in some random part of the map.
↑ This one for example. I activated a gold shrine somewhere far west from where I am in the video but I didn’t see it drop any gold on the ground. As I explore the area more, I found this gold pile in like a donut shape without the shrine at the center. I assume this was from the one I activated a while ago.
