It’s one thing for large groups of monsters to literally walk through my minions to get to me - no slowdown, no taking damage, just pretend that I’m all alone. But now I’m running into SOBs that are not only faster than my Teleports, but also arrive at my destination BEFORE I do. Even the Act/Timeline bosses can’t do this, but some random Wengari can???
I call BS…
UPDATE: wait, it gets worse. Now I’ve hit an Arena Echo (for the love of the gods, remove these effing things already!!!) where EVERY MONSTER was like this. I spent the entire fight running in circles, pointlessly Teleporting, only to get my ass kicked because my minions could not keep up.
It’s crap like this that led to my uninstall of PoE.
I just ran into an echo boss that was like this, I still dont know if it was a group of guys or one guy with miraging and teleporting everywhere I didnt want him to be. That was the most annoying encounter for me up till now.
Enemies input read. I have had bosses such as orobos, and some spell casters throw nukes not where i was, but in the direct where i was headed. In some cases, directly in my path within 3s making it impossible to avoid. Things like that should not exist.
Ice orobos is worst offender, spawning the rotating ice balls of death right on you
I love PoE, but LE is going down the one route PoE has always been notoriously bad for, offscreen bullshit and on death effects. If I get blown up by a corpse 5 seconds after killing it in LE, the game is going in back of my rotation for a while. Cheap deaths feel bad and should not be a thing, wishful thinking I know.
As far as I’m aware, most ranged mobs in LE try to track your movements. That is, if you’re walking right, they will shoot slightly right of where you are. Most of the time this is not efficient, since they’re not really taking into account your speed, but they usually try to track you.
