I’m currently on the quest Rahyeh’s Warpath with an offline lvl 42 sorcerer. Not sure if much changes after that, but so far those are some things I wanted to share:
-
The world feels a bit empty. Maybe add random encounters, something like Loot Goblins, maybe little caves or basements like in Grim Dawn to incentivize exploring. They could even have certain modifiers that increase the difficulty and reward.
-
It also feels rather repetitive to mostly only destroy a pile of planks or crates. I know there are other elements, but the planks/crates are very frequent. Some ideas: pile of rocks, corpses, heaps of sand, dead trees. They also only drop gold. How about a small chance for proper loot?
-
Perhaps even environmental objects that interact with the enemies. Like how in Diablo 3 you could destroy a brazier and the coals/fire hurt enemies. Or chandeliers you could cut loose, and they would fall on enemies.
-
Another idea is a combo counter that you can keep alive by quickly moving from enemy to enemy group. The higher the counter, the bigger the experience bonus or some similar mechanic.
-
How about random events that can happen somewhere on the map. If you trigger it, you have a certain amount of time to complete it and afterwards you get a reward.
-
Auto-sorting for the stash would be awesome. Like in PoE where you can define a tab for, let’s say, idols, and every time you move an idol to the stash it gets automatically sorted in that particular tab.
-
Some alternate voice lines for the inventory full notification would be awesome. It’gets kinda repetitive.
