Some Feedback, wishes and questions

I’ve been playing LE for a while now and every time I noticed something I wrote it down. So here is a loose list of feedback now. This is of course only my view and it is of course only subjective. Besides, many things are of course only trifles. But I just wrote down most of the things that came to my mind.

English is not my native language, please overlook any mistakes.

And again, this is just my opinion, it is not universal and you can of course have a different one.

  1. Why is a fog of war in non-combat zones
  2. Why do you consume mana in non-combat zones? If you want to summon a horde of Minions, this can take a moment.
  3. If you die in a Monolith map, you have to start the map over again. This is perfectly ok. But why do you lose the reward at the end? Isn’t the loss of time just playing the map again punishment enough?
  4. Why don’t the keys stack up? Better yet, push them into their own inventory.
  5. Why is a two handed weapon compared to a one handed weapon? A two-handed weapon should always be compared to mainhand and offhand.
  6. Why do affixes end up in the inventory and not in the container for crafting materials?
  7. The locked center in my idol inventory is disturbing :wink:
  8. It would be nice to be able to rotate idols.
  9. The redistribution of passives is really annoying. Why can’t you distribute points back and forth and I’m told the price at the end with a confirmation?
  10. The density of mobs in some zones is far too low, in some again the density is then good again - This concerns in the main Monolith zones.
  11. Why do you have to open 2 boxes after each monolith map?

  13. If you distribute a skill point, this happens immediately after a click. At the END of the distribution should be asked for a confirmation, and only then these points should really be distributed.
  14. Also, an overview window would be nice here, on the same screen, where I can see the calculated damage, spell speed, etc, so I can look where to best put the points in.
  15. “Leave Game” takes me to the loginscreen, not the character selection window as the description says.
  16. Uniques and set items only drop with a fixed level. Why? In my opinion they should be adjusted to the zone level.
  17. Especially set items should also be able to be crafted (have a forging level), sets seem to me to be pretty weak, it’s not worth using them. At least not from a certain level.
  18. The layout of the monolith cards. I think the maps are too big and if you run in the wrong direction and only then see that you should have run in the other direction, you sometimes have to cover quite a long way back, through an empty map.
  19. Playing a minion build feels good, that’s not always the case. Unfortunately, the attack range seems to be smaller than my own. Sometimes the Minions just stand around looking dumb while I’m fighting.

  23. I would love a “pet” like in Diablo 3 that picks up money and affixes for me, would probably even pay $$ for it - stone me.
  24. I would like to be able to move the UI elements, I have an Ultrawide monitor and the Minions in the top left corner are not nicely placed. I would also like to be able to move other elements.
  25. I would like to be able to attach sound effects to conditions, for example I would like to hear a “ping” whenever a pet dies.
  26. I would like to be able to set how fast the chat window fades out, for me it is currently too short to see, especially when you want to read along and are fighting.
  27. I would like to have an area where I can try builds to see how the damage is.
  28. An adventure mode like in D3, I really don’t want to play the story for every char. 1-3 times is really enough for me.
  29. Minions that are smart enough not to be in every crap. I don’t expect them to dance around every effect, but they really don’t need to stand in the green sauce or that evil flame ray all the time. You could create a passive for that. “Minions take 20/40/60/80/100% less damage from ground effects”, or similar.
  30. I would like to be able to complete my skill bar. Unfortunately, it has happened to me more than once that I accidentally changed a skill in combat. When it’s a minion kill, this is pretty annoying.
  31. When the bank or a merchant is open, please let me right-click instead of shift-right-click to move things around, just like it is in felt every other game. Make it Optional.
  32. Subtitles in the set to music scenes would be nice.
  33. Achivements.
  34. Minion DPS when you hold the mouse over the skill.
  35. WASD Movement
  36. A /played or /age command to see how long the character has been played, along with total played.
  37. The story zones should scale with the player level.
  38. The forge should forget which glyph or rune was inserted when you close it.
  39. Some bosses seem a bit “overtuned” to me. Or I’m too bad, but I really have problems with some bosses. A hidden nerf, like after each defeat they lose 1% damage and life would be fine, then you manage them sooner or later.
  40. A second weapon set to change would be nice. So you can switch from e.g. Sword+Board and 2H with a click.
  41. I would like to be able to search my stash. Specifically, I’d like to be able to search for specific affixes in one tab instead of looking at all the idols individually.

A lot of great points! My favorite ones that you have listed in the list are 7, 23, 28, 31. I don’t understand why the pets can’t grab my gold for me, it’s not really game changing other than convenience.

  1. This is a known bug and Devs are aware of it.
  2. I assume you play in offline mode? Since you can’t use skills in non-combat zones in multiplayer. But I would like the infinite mana idea whenever in town/camps
  3. This might be controversial, but I think you have to earn it just like any other game.
  4. I would love keys to be stack-able too.

  6. Another controversial topic. There have been a lot of discussions here in the forums and most people would like this. But ask EHG :slight_smile: There’s a “transfer” button in your inventory to put those in its special storage.
  7. Just by removing this 1x1 block at the center can cause imbalance in the game. It’s there because of how idols are designed and so you can’t abuse it too much.

  16. I think this is fine because LP (Legendary Potential) exists and rolling a unique with good stats too. Some uniques are powerful even they have low-level requirement. I can’t say much for Set items though since most of it are a lackluster.

  18. I think the idea here is that you encounter Orobyss (monolith node boss). But I’ve never had a problem about the thing you mentioned here. I just usually go to nodes of the items/rewards I want and pick the nearest one even if it deviates me from my original path.
  19. I agree. Minion AI can sometimes be so dumb or way too aggressive that chases enemies til the depths of hell. There should be an AI behavior option (which I kept forgetting to make a separate topic about).

  21. Unless if you’re a hoarder like me, you’re gonna spend more money buying storage stash faster than you earn them. But LE has the best storage management in any aRPG I’ve played (until you try to search via keyword. shhhh)

  29. I’m not sure about this but I think minions has a hidden mechanic that makes them take less damage from all sources. (someone can confirm this?)
  30. There should be a way to “lock” the skill bar preventing it to be changed. (Again, another suggestion I’ve made about a year ago).

  37. Would be nice too if they will give a reason for players to come back to these areas. But right now, there is no reason to, you won’t get rewarded for beating enemies at your level there. Might as well just do monoliths.
  38. This can be good or bad. As someone who always open and close it, I would find annoying. Maybe add a “remember glyph/rune” checkbox there.
  39. Devs are probably trying to balance these too in the future. They’ve nerfed Majasa already before if I’m not mistaken (again, can someone confirm?)
  40. This might be abused in a way how some skills work especially buffs like dependent on your certain stats and use the stats on your 2nd weapon for bigger bonuses. So maybe a “no” for this one.
  41. There’s a search function in stash except it can be shitty sometimes when it’s not greying out unrelated items. My suggestion would be–make a separate stash tab for your idols. I separate all 1x1 2x2, all vertical, and all horizontal idols. (I still would separate them all by class category once I get enough gold to buy more stash).

5. If i have an 1h and an shield equipped and consider to equip an 2h weapon, i dont really need an compare between the 1h and the 2h weapon, i need know what my combined main- and offhand stats are vs the stats of the 2h weapon.

  1. is for sure controversical, and thats perfectly ok. I just think having to redo the map again is enough for an punishment, you still need to earn that node to get the reward. If you die, just just dont redo the node, except you need to reach behind it.

  2. Yeah, i - and everyone else :wink: - use that button, it’s just an pointless extra-click.

  3. a “less mob density” is ok, but some zones just dont have enough mobs, there is no need for 10 seconds running wihout mobs. I just think, a smaller zone with the same amount of mobs would be better.

  4. I think i was unclear. I meant the maps itself. I had yesterday a map: The map was a long hose running from north to south. The quest destination was in the west. So I had the option to run north or south, since I was spawned pretty much in the middle. I ran north, and that was a dead end. Then I had to run south for 30 seconds, fight the rest of the mobs, and then find the turnoff to the west. It’s not a leg break (German proverb), but it disrupts the flow of the game.

  3. I was unclear here. I want an “lootfilter” for sounds. Like, i can setup what i want. If this happens, then play this sound, if that happens, play that. Not sound which get forced to players who dont want to hear them.

  5. Yes, please balance them more. It’s a litte bit frustrating in my opinion. I was at a point where i had to do boss → map → boss → boss → map, because you loose corruption with every dead. And yes, maybe i am only a bad player. But i read pretty frequently that player ask for help or moan about this in chat.

I see, this is actually a good idea, combined stats to differentiate with the 2H you’re comparing with. I’ve been just manually checking each piece when I switched from 1H to 2H but I never thought about this.

Yes, I agree with this too. This goes the same with the #6 on your latest reply. I also don’t like running around without encountering mobs for a while.

There’s a topic here in forum similar to this which I’ve also made a suggestion of. But it’s mostly for character quips, endless repetitive dialogue, etc. I thought I’d just let you know.

There’s a search bar at the lower right of the stash, yes. But just in case you don’t know this yet, there’s also a “Quick View”, there should be a button on the right side of the stash just close the the “+” sign and arrows that also has a search bar. I find it much better using that since it tells you which stash stab is the item you’re looking for is located.

I better dont tell you, that i always did a mouse-over every 1-slot idol in 2 full tabs if i did look for certain affix.

Lol, don’t worry, I was like this too several years back when I didn’t know there’s a loot filter so I pretty much kept everything. But I wish we can search at least 2 affixes in the search bar for a more precise locating those items.
