Some enemy skills are DOT and not DOT at the same time?

In the video at 00:14, when the monster spit blood to me, there are several “Dodge” text popping up.
As we all know, Dodge can only work on hits. This means this blood-spitting skill is a Hit type skill.

But we can also notice that no new Stalwart stack is gained at the same time. Forge Guard’s Stalwart is also something gained when hit.

That doesn’t make sense when a skill can be dodged and cannot proc Stalwart stacks.


Found one more thing strange here. I saw the total health lost in the HP sphere by this blood-spitting skill is 15, but the number popping up on the character is 4 points, 7 points, and 3 “Dodge” texts.
If these 3 "Dodge"s are actually damage, then the total damage should be a lot more than more 15, probably 20+. If these are real dodges, then why only 4 and 7 popped up, which add up to only 11, not 15?
And I had only 11% dodge chance, the real dodge text rate is too high? Maybe it’s a coincidence? But I remember one time I had 5% dodge rate and I dodged like 3 hits out of 6 hits.

When you dodge, you not get hit? What is the problem here IDK? :crazy_face:
Ps. Oh now after some time I knoe what you mean. Sometimes this skill should hit and trigger but i does not. Looks like a bug to me.

Yes, it can be dodged but cannot trigger hit-trigger type of effects.
And the damage/dodge texts popping up seem suspicious to me
