(solved) Loot filter rule name should be replaceable

It is bad that each loot filter name which is automated can’t get it at a glance. The maintainability is low,. If the filter is made up by not you, don’t you get tired updating? I get tired even me made filter myself. Those automated texts should be replaceable.

Like this way. Holding [Alt] displays current automated rule names.

Enter replacement on rule edit screen.

I am sorry but this is pretty funny

I read that post three times trying to understand what I was missing and I still can’t figure out what the ask he’s getting at that’s easily solved by the Edit Rule name button.

But in fairness, I’ve read tooltips like this all the time and made mistakes. It was actually fairly recent that I figured out that Tornado’s Eye of the Storm (main tool tip ‘can no longer cast additional tornadoes’) didn’t mean you could only have one tornado it only meant that Hurricane’s extra cast chance wouldn’t proc.) :flushed:

Im with you @CaiusMartius I have no idea what this threads about haha

It seems they want to be able to change the name of the rules. But probably missed the button that do this exactly.

It would have been better me asking community on discord in advance.
I really appreciate your help, made my day!

When I first read this I thought kinda the same, but then I thought what he wanted was some extended description field which he could toggle between.

Something like “Helmets to Slam” as rule name and a description with “This will show T7 mana”. And when you hit ALT key it would show you the extended descriptions.
Just some way for you to have more detailed info on a rule without having to actually go into the rule edit to see what you selected.

Or even toggle between the name and the automatic naming rule.

But it turns out he just missed the edit name button.

yeah, the [alt] idea i mentioned was only a minor part, ofc I like it if we could get it.
It might be easy to be implemented, I guess, but clearly not prior to.
