Im dead thanks for the laugh, but deal
I had change today . A friend I play games with said “Here have Remnant 2 and install it so we can play!” and I said “Okay!”. What an intresting day I had fml. I used to play the first one on the highest difficulty but I got sooo bad at shooters it’s a nightmare
. Then again the difficulty of the game is fun so I told my other friends “Diablo who? Don’t know that one for 2 weeks!”.
Bro I want to play it so bad but on my 7600 it crashes almost every 15 minutes, I have to wait for either a driver update or more patches. The first was so good.
I’ve to set everything to low it’s ass but it’s still fun.
I played a bit of the beta and on release. I liked it visually, and I liked the dark theme of the game, but I couldn’t stand the level scaling mechanic, so much that I couldn’t even play through the campaign. I regret paying so much for it tbh.
They have dialed the level scaling back a bit.
Only thing Bliz knows how to do is dial, and they can do that every damn day like it seems they have been doing, but until there are interesting mechanics loot and end game, it dont mean shieet!
Just read there is some absolute bonkers exploit where you can bring your eternal toons into league, or bring all your hearts to eternal. I dont suspect the game was made in less than 2 years now, I know it. This is arguably just a big of blemish as Immortal. Funnily enough, I have talked to a handful of f2p Immortal enjoyers who claim there are many more interesting and engaging things to do in Immortal.
Bliz aint Bliz anymore, they are Activision.
Thinking about what class I want to play in D4 just makes me want to play D3. I mean, for all it’s lack of substance, D3’s classes were all fun as fuck to play.
Months ago during closed beta I made a topic about how I thought LE was the more competent arpg, and it was at that moment, I found an entire level of respect for LE I did not have prior. Sometimes we need that giant stinky turd to remind us how good some things truly are.
Demon Hunter BiS always just saying.
To be honest, I tried coming back to LE. But the classes I wanted to play were melee. AND, melee in this game is just about as fun a bamboo shards up the fingernails… with the lag, sloth-like animations and crazy (read as: spastic) targeting mechanics. Anyone who plays a melee on hardcore is so far beyond masochistic, they need to invent a new term – Last Masoch? Perhaps.
The feel is even worse after playing a Blizzard game. For everything they get wrong with balance (and, debatably other things), they usually have combat animations, and feel, down to a “T”.
I agree, melee in LE leaves a lot to be desired. Id say PoE, but beyond boneshatter we know how that story plays out. Maybe try a new arpg? I wont name the well knows, but I highly recommend The Slormancer, Ghostlore, and Chronicon.
I think PoE decided they couldn’t do proper melee (you know, actually having to be in melee range) justice so they decided to make it clear/hit the entire screen anyway.
I didn’t play the Full Game yet, but plan to do so at some point. I did play however the Beta and at that time i had a blast, so much that i “again” started to hate Blizzard, that they will ruin a potential great Diablo 4 for me in the long run, because of their Online-Only BS, plus their Buisness Modell. Which is sad, because i’m not against cool online-features and playing Online at times, - but i hate it when it’s the only option because i’ve seen to many Games die and never being able to play again, and also was in too many stiuation where i’m locked out of these games(like recent event - i had since ~april no Internet anymore, and even if i’ve now Internet again, it doesn’t dismiss my point of having for such games a proper offline mode.) which is frustrating. I might not expect Blizzard turning off Server soon (considering how long some of their oldest games still run bnet) but better be safe then sorry. (Similiar to Seatbelts, people don’t expect to have car accidents, but in case IF something happens it’s better).
Also if you look at Diablo 2 - i’d argue “one” of the Reasons why these Game is played for such a long time is also because proper offline(&Lan) opens up for Modding, and MedianXL was pretty popular.
And about the Buisness Practice like Battle Passes, MTX and such. I personally don’t dislike them “generally” or out of an “principle”, i simply have seen to many Games which are predatory on that stuff. But there are a few good examples which showed me even a BP can be nice / good, if they cut the shitty FOMO and have a fair pace if you solely play.
I agree, they gave up a while ago. Molten Strike will work next season because of the support that makes projectile return, but again, not a real melee skill. One day Heavy Strike is going to be BiS. One day in 2045, but its coming!
This made me laugh way too hard, GGG turning all melee into BS
Yeah I like them. There are new masteries to try out, which is the biggest plus. Rune + Defence works really well. I’ve been playing a Earth + Nieden caster more recently. If you make it to the end of legendary then there is a new china themed area to explore, I think it’s well done.
TQ was my first ARPG, so imagine my excitement when they announced Titan Quest 2 a few days ago!! ARPGs aren’t dead after all.
Right, the genre is actually in a good place right now, lots of competition for our time. Good choice with Earth + Nieden, thats a cool combo. Almost everything works with Nieden.
