This was so clearly a Beast Master / Lich release… When will Necro actually get love?

I think its purely just the really old/bad necro minion trees. Aboms new tree kept its power in check, but more then anything build abom feels interesting. You get to specialize in several different skills/mechanics and can split focus all in on one, or what have you.
Thats what skeleton mages/Skeletons need badly. Not just reskins, Death knights should have their own special sub skill focuses that make you change how you want to focus your minion army etc.
Skeleton rogues are the most fleshed out having some throwing skills/dash so cdr investment or some weird throwing focus with flasks and shurikens etc.
What the frick do archers do? use a really bad sub skill? or how about warriors LOL
like i dunno, they need to rework those two trees to make them feel worth building around interesting interactions.
The new tree itself has some flaws like extra cost for minion count, but also has lots of really good/interesting focuses like DoT support comboed with access to stuff like AoD being able to be shifted to phys or cold offer support for that type of minion damage etc.
its almost good, but just not quite there.
like something I think I saw you mention in another thread, we have ample access to +minion skills across our army, abom? I feel like I can easily spend 30 points. Skeletons I hardly can spend 25 and feel good about it. Mage that are not a solo mage? I dont even feel like I can spend 20…
Edit also, recently also messed around with zoo BM. Solo minions are still king of course, but we got lots of interesting cross minion interactions in BM, The new scorpion has a node that eats storm bolts allowing you to buff its lightning nova, cool. Cept it also works on Wolves storm bolts. So you can slot in a scorpion into a storm bolt focused wolf build and watch your scorpion charge up huge shocknovas. We need more cross summon buffing, it honestly was such a shame abom got a node that blocks it from eating skeletons in exchange for… 10% aoe speed. REALLY? nothing else? a measly tiny little attack speed aura? come on man…
