The game is great and I have full faith bugs and server issues will be addressed. This post is to discuss the jerkiness of gameplay due to pause on casting, getting slowed by foes, and getting crowded in by mobs.
I’ve leveled three cycle characters almost to lvl 100 and all three seem to suffer from stop-and-go game mechanics. Cast a rogue trap, toon stops. Cast a warlock skill, stop. Get slowed by cold attack or by group of void minions, stop. It’s annoying-not fun. I wonder if it could be sped up, or if the casting time could be done away with? That would create a smoother feel moving through echoes.
What you suggest would make gameplay feel more floaty and less fun for me.
When I do stuff I don’t want my character to have no animation and castign stuff instantly.
Also having enemies slow you is incredibly rare and can even be contered, if you really want (You can get several sources of ailment cleanse on yourself)
Also investing into cast or attack speed feels very good because it really feels like you are progressing your character.

I totally hear you, I have Cleanse ailments from two different Skills, but it still just feels clunky. I like that feeling of floating in other ARPG‘s. Sic D3 D4 POE
