One thing I like about some RPGs is that they give loot dependent on your class 90+% of the time. Lately I see the rise of very strict loot filters that hide anything your build doesn’t use. Why is this? A lot of people are tired of finding stuff they aren’t using. it’s just fancy trash. Something that can combat the too-much loot pinata is the idea of a Circle of Fortune lense that only gives bounties for specific item types your class uses. If I’m making a paladin, I don’t want to see bow prophecies. If I’m on a rogue, I don’t want shield prophecies. Stuff like that, but really honed down to the bases and skills and stuff you as a player of X class wants and needs. If it was just a CoF option it wouldn’t really change how the game plays. It would just give loot you can use.
