For these types of quests sometimes I get the guide arrow after killing 10 monsters, and sometimes it doesn’t show until I clear 1/3 the echo. Is there a general rule or progress bar or something that I am missing? It just seems really varied and random.
If you’re close to the marker it’ll pop regardless. Also, some maps require fewer kills to try and prevent players from going too far out of their way.
