Add skip story function pls.
The first x time is fun, but more is boring.

There is no default “no campaign” function at the moment. But you can use certain Dungeons to bypass parts of the campaign. IF you find dungeon keys on a previous run/other character.

Always feels weird to me that people find repeating the story boring, and want to go straight to repeating endlessly the same tiny monoliths. To me THAT is the boring part.
Shows that everybody is different. :slight_smile:

Anyway, while I would never use any kind of skip or xp boost myself, I don’t mind if it exists for other players. More options is always good.
I think the dungeon shortcuts system is actually quite clever (although I would probably add a quest with each dungeon rewarding one key).

Diablo 3 does exactly what you ask for and does it very well.
I don’t see anything wrong with adding a kind of feature that allows, from the second character, not to go directly to the endgame but e.g. to have a character at level 20 and with the possibility of choosing mastery.

I would impose some limits, such as: “Complete main campaign, all side quests and complete at least one Monolith timeline.” and that’s all.

It took them mamy years to add it in though, and they don’t have any rewards tied in to the campaign.

I mentioned Diablo 3 just to give an example of what you can do: campaign or adventure mode. I would introduce something similar to the “adventure mode” with the limits that I wrote in my previous post.

As for rewards right now Last Epoch doesn’t even have Achievements (which I hope they introduce soon), titles and so on.
So I would think about the rewards later.

Giving the opportunity to “loyal players” to reduce the time required to level other characters is good and it allows you to have fun sooner and better.
Of course you need to know how to balance it, that’s why limits are needed and I think that at least the limit of completing the whole campaign, the side quests and at least one Monolith timeline is more than enough.
