In Monolith of Fate echos and at some random point the mobs stopped dying.
The first occurrence was in an Arena-style echo (kill X waves) - managed to kill a handful of mobs then the just stopped dying.
Second occurrence in an echo where you have to close/seal a gate. Got to the gate and most of the waves cleared but with the last handful of mobs again they just stopped dying. I know rude right? Haxor Mobs!!!
In both cases Yellow crit numbers stopped showing which is usually a bad sign. The mobs were like U Cant Touch This!
Given that i had enough Hammer(time) and Smite triggers going off that it looked like I was at an 90’s HappyPants Rave Party on a bad acid trip I was like what the xxxxx?
Ailment counters seemed to still be working (applied/decaying) and the occasional red damage numbers on me but no issue with the amount of leech I have so back to full health in no time.
After 3 minutes of holding in the hammer throw button and the Smite-powered laserlight show had become a complete stalemate I left the game and came back. The Echo was still there and available for selection.
It was such a downer over all cos i was trying really really really hard to kill the baddies.
