Skill Tree Queuing?

This is kind of a weird QoL suggestion, but since this game requires you to assign points into 6+ different trees at once (5 skills plus your class passive trees), I think it would be nice if you could set up a plan ahead of time and have the game auto-assign points as you level up, similar to how research trees work in games like Civilization. Of course if you don’t set up a queue it would just stockpile free points as usual. The point of this would be to reduce the few seconds of “wait, what was I aiming for with this skill again?” every time they level, which happens fairly often throughout the game. It would also make it less confusing to use equipment that adds levels to your skills, since you wouldn’t need to keep track of all the extra points that are being added or removed as you change gear.

If that’s too complicated to implement, even being able to highlight the nodes you’re prioritizing would be nice.

This would be a huge quality of life improvement, and I hope EHG at least notes it down as a “good-to-have” after 1.0. I can’t remember the paths of each separate skill tree that I want (especially if I’m playing multiple characters at once and swapping between them) – and being able to map it out would be incredible.

It would also and particularly assist with controller players such as myself, because menu-ing is rather unpleasant (and this is the case in every ARPG; this isn’t a criticism of LE in particular), and having to menu every 1-3 minutes to level up a skill is very tedious.

The devs have mentiond something like this so it may happen.
