I am not really fond of the faction selection screens introduced in 1.2 that seperates Item Factions from End Game Factions. I feel a bit tedious to have to go back and forth to check either Memory Ambers/Weaver Tree or CoF Favor/Prophecies.
I would rather prefer the logic of a single selection screen. I am not sure we need all the information displayed on the current faction selection screens (like the progress bar ?), so maybe display miniatures with only the important information ; the detail being available of the selected Faction screen.
I think they did it this way because of their intention to add more and more factions over time, which would make the screen cluttered and clunky if you just displayed them all at once.
What I would rather have is a tabbed window where it defaults to the chosen factions (maybe in a list format) and another tab for the current layout.
Yes, I agree, it makes sense that EHG prepares for more factions to come.
Still, I think it would be possible to have a single screen that summarizes the current state. For example, for the Weaver Faction, the only info I need at a glance is : current Faction Level, Memory Amber count and a button to open the Weaver Tree. I believe it should be possible to display these info within a smaller Faction card.
In any case, any solution that would solve the switching back and forth would interest me
