I’ve noticed that most mobs in LE will break aggro once you’ve run far enough away from them, but apparently Siege Golems don’t?
I was just running a Nesting Grove where I’d cleared the far left nest first, then aggro’d a Siege Golem. I ran past it to clear the rest of the map, but it kept attacking me even though that leftmost Rift Beast attacked it and kept it aggro’d in place where it was.
I was at the far right nest, still getting hit by it when I cleared the map. I didn’t realize it was still that first Siege Golem that had been hitting me the whole time because there were other ones in the map closer to me that I’d kill, and I thought it was just another newer, closer one that had now started to attack me, but after clearing that last nest I decided to find and kill whatever one was still attacking me. I had to run the entire length of the echo to find it still back at that far left nest being attacked by that Rift Beast.
Maybe this was intentional, but it just seems excessive.
