I’ll start off by mentioning that I’m not sure if this is precisely a bug.
I do believe that it should be looked at regardless, since it makes shrines a nuisance when using the Coated Blades passive. Especially in multiplayer where others may trigger the shrine effect for you.

I believe the issue is caused when a shrine effect starts casting a melee (or bow) skill and the player has invested points into the Coated Blades passive in the Rogue tree.
In the video I’ve encountered a shrine that activates Flame Reave.
Previously I’ve noticed Warpath putting my mana down to negative 5k.
One could argue that this is an issue with mana regen on my side.
I unfortunately do not think that shrines should be a nuisance, regardless of the build you’re running.
I made sure to show the rest of my passives and my equipped gear in case the issue comes from something else entirely. It could be that there’s a different passive that also contributes to the mana consumption, I have not played this build in a long time
I cant really think of a satisfying solution to this.
Making shrines completely ignore passive trees and equipment would feel wrong and just straight up removing the problematic effects feels like taking the easy way out instead of tackling the issue itself.

Nothing too relevant comes to mind at the moment.
