Hi all, I just simply want to share with you a character build that I have been working long and hard on. I have gotten the character up lvl 80, he is just 20 lvl’s away from reaching 100. I would like your feedback please on my Sorcerer Fire & Ice Mage Build. Pl,ease, please Do Not Give Me Suggestions on How I Can Improve On My Build, as I would like to make any further improvements on my own merit. If I need your help with my build, I will let you know. All I want from you all are comments about what you lke about my build or what you don’t like. If there is anything that you don’t like, please be kind about it, I really would appreciate that. Please do not be too harsh, a lot of effort went into my creation and I am very much proud of it.
I have no clue what is going on here am not a build maker(at least one that makes build which go far in the game) but I like the fact that you do your own thing and I hope you enjoy playing your own builds and the game overall.
ARTICPOTATO, Tank you. I really appreciate that, but more than that, you are appreciated. I have just started doing an Acolyte Build, I will share that build here too once she’s too at lvl 80.
Llama8. Yes, I know that my character is not complete, I have no blessings just yet. I am yet to get those and reach 100. He’s at lvl 80 like I said, I just want to showcase my build so far. I hope that helps? Also, my character has done no corruptions yet either, I am yet to work on those too. Right now, my focus is getting the character to 100 first, then I can concentrate on the other stuff.
The Axe helps to boost my Flame Reave, which is in on of itself, is a Melee based Skill, part of the SpellBlade Mastery, which means that the skill is linked to having a blade of somekind, if I am not mistaken? Hence the Axe, it’s a blade of sorts. I had been using wands until I switched to two handed weapons and found that I was getting better results. I hope this answers your question Iceberg? Basically, two handed weapns were boosting the damage output of Flame Reave, High Spell Damage Based Wands worked quite well, just not well enough, because they are not Blades of anykind, of which the SpellBlade Skill of Flame Reave needs in order for the skill to work. Unless I am mistaken about that? All I can say is that Flame Reave works better, when a two handed weapon is used, if the skill was wand based, I doubt it would be part of the SpellBlade Master Sill’s set. It makes sense, or at least to me it does and that is all that matters.
HorusKBZ, so sorry for any confusion, my gear slots etc. were empty as I had simply forgotten that with the profile like, it is constantly updated and I had removed the gear etc. for a secondary mage to use. I have since corrected my mistake and posted the planner link instead.
Oh, right, I am trying to do a video walkthrough on my current build and I need the items from my mian mage for my secondary mage, I keep forgetting theat my profile updates itself, I had the belt, boots, gloves, rings and amulet slots all filled. Like I said, I had to remove the stuff for my other mage to be able use. Right now though, I can’t create the secondary mage for my gameplay guide for YouTube just yet, so what I will do si re-equip my Mirlin mage with everything and update my profile until I am ready to make the secondary mage for my gameplay walkthrough guide for YouTube. Right now, I can’t do any game capture recording, as OBS Studio has developed a problem, or my microphone/headphones headset has, but alas, I do not know which of those two it is. Sorry about the confusion about the slots. Like I said, I completely forgot that my profile updates itself. I’ll go and fixe the problem right now, as I won’t be needing the gear etc. for my other mage.
That’s fine. Horus has a snapshot of it (https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/QDbprDwo again, for reference).
I did tell you that a reference to the profile shows the current state always, whereas saving in the planner creates a snapshot.
I think people can continue this discussion using the planner link instead, but I would advise you to edit your OP and add the link to it there, to prevent future confusion.
‘Spell Blade’ Doesn’t have to use ‘Blades’ they merely have to use a weapon that does melee damage. So 1 or 2 handed Blades, 1 or 2 handed maces, or Quarterstaffs will all work, wands, scepters, and other types that primarily boost spell damage won’t work as well on Mastery Skills. However they still work well for Core Mage skills so … YMMV.
The thing to remember is to read the skill description, it will generally tell you if it is restricted to certain weapon types.
