Show Corruption on Monolith Map view// Gameplay feedback

Hi guys, first off the game is extremely fun! I just have some feedback on corruption in the end game and difficulty scaling throughout the game.

It would be REALLY nice if you could tell from the “timelines” view how much Corruption a timeline has on it at a glance. I am working on getting corruption up in multiple timelines and find it difficult to figure out how much corruption is on a specific map from just looking at it in the “Monolith” or “Atlas” view. It would make it a LOT easier to figure out what timeline I want to do at a glance if you could just tell at a glance the corruption level of a timeline, rather than having to go into the timeline to see how much corruption is on it; if there was an icon next to the name of the timeline, or if the Corruption level was shown in the “Level” bubble, once all timelines are level 100, it would be a nice touch.

I think this makes a lot of sense, because once you beat Shattered Road, you are essentially farming corruption, and the level grind becomes more of a “side quest”, as “timeline level” is replaced by “corruption level”. Please show corruption level in the map view, replacing the “timeline level 100” bubble once you’ve beaten Shattered Road the first time!!! Or show it next to the timeline name with a separate bubble for corruption (16,000 corruption = 16K).

Secondly, I do feel that the game is extremely easy until you unlock corruption, where at that point the difficulty spike is big and the game becomes a lot more challenging. I do wish that the difficulty ramped up earlier so that you don’t feel OP right up until corruption when you suddenly start facing enemies that are much more damaging. It may just need to be a 0.1X damage modifier on enemies every 10 levels or so.

It would also be nice to have a slider for this kind of thing, similar to what is done with “Torment Tiers” in D4. Because I do find the game incredibly easy until you start farming corruption and then it just spikes insanely, and it could be useful to have an option to make the game more difficult for increased rewards up front. I just find myself almost never dying until corruption, so it would be nice to make the game more difficult specifically in the level 50 to 80 range.

An “increased damage for increased rewards” node on the weaver tree might be another option, where you get 1.5X rewards in exchange for a 1.5X monster damage/health buff or something like that.

I do feel that showing the corruption level on the “timelines” view is a big one because I think about that constantly while playing. Game is awesome, thank you!


But you already see your current corruption level below each timeline? I am confused do you not see that?

The Purple Number below each timeline indicates the corruption.

Are you playing offline and haven’t updated the game since before 1.2? Because that was added a couple weeks ago.
