Should Fire Aura from Disintegrate's Inferno node benefit from Disintegrate's modifiers?

I found Ignivar’s Head with a solo Spellblade and wanted to build around it. As a Spellblade, I don’t have access to Arcane Ascendance but do have more Fire Aura options. Synergizing the two DoTs seemed the obvious way to go but there doesn’t seem to be that much to work with. Testing on the training dummy, Fire Aura ticks from the Flame Walker passive deal the same damage as Fire Aura ticks from the Inferno node with points in Searing Plasma.

It’s stated elsewhere that spells procced by a skill’s tree should benefit from applicable modifiers on the tree. This doesn’t currently seem to be the case for Disintegrate and Fire Aura. Is this an oversight or a design choice? Further, should the Fire Aura from Inferno benefit from the “Disintegrate deals more damage equal to your spell crit chance” line on Ignivar’s Head? By the wording, it seems at least arguable.
