SHOP Improvement suggestion

Hello Dear Last Epoch team and enjoyers,

I have to say that I enjoy the game a lot but I cannot say the same about the ingame shop and therefore, instead of simply complaining, why and what I don’t like about it I am comming in here with suggestion on how to improve it.

My idea is simple - create a “Custom” shop option, fill it with gear models that are customizable when it comes to basic mesh shapes and colors so anyone can, for a certain prize, “pimp their (ride) player”

It should be fairly “accessible” price-wise just so anyone can actualy engage with it in it’s basic form. Later on you could add option to apply custom “special effects” for additional price, If you choose to do so, ecetera - I think this idea is fairly “expandable”, what I am presenting is the main concept which, in my opinion, will be enjoyable a bring more players to engage with the shop “because it’s fun” instead of only doing so “because they wanna support the game” - those two can be merged into one, in my opinion, with new “pimp my player” custom option.

What do you think? hm?

Cya in-game!!

Not a lot of people buy anything from the shop because they see how UGLY everything in it looks.

I mean, I bought Abyssal Templar supporter pack. I don’t use any of the cosmetics in it because they are so ugly it hurts to look at it. Like someone took a 5yo child’s drawing and modeled it with 2 weeks worth of experience in 3D modeling.

It’s a weird feeling when ingame items look objectively better than the ones you purchase for money… not sure I like it.
On one hand, it means you don’t HAVE to spend money for your character to not make your eyes bleed (unlike PoE without mtx sets), on the other hand, people are not likely to buy them if they won’t use them.

I’m still waiting for the transmog system, at this point even being able to pick between gear pieces already in the base game would be better.

To be fair earlier I bought the Argentum Myrmidon armor set and that set at least doesn’t physically hurt to look at, even if the helm and the back side of the torso are not my style.

The Shrouds are also somewhat buggy, and the wispy smoke effect sometimes unravels into a square texture overlaid over your character lmao

But that exactly what I suggested - to take ingame meshes make them colorable and bit adjustable and let you create your custom cosmetic set
