Shield Rush skill tree is really disappointing

I’m playing a judgement build and shield rush is the best mobility option I have. Yet when I spec into it, there’s very little I can pick that’s actually useful. I scale with things not directly related to melee dmg so the damage nodes are useless, stun pretty much as well since I’m not dealing enough dmg to stun.

Why doesn’t it have utility and defense nodes like Shift, Transplant or Fury Leap? There’s really cool stuff there for every build, why is that design not here as well? The tree feels half-done, boring AF, and could really use some more attention from the developers.

Because it’s an old skill tree. Those other ones you mention are all comparatively recent.

Agreed, specializing in shield rush is kind of sad right now if you don’t want damage. I really like trigger based sentinel builds so I can take a specialized skill off the bar and just use shield rush without specializing. Would be nice to get more utility from the skill.
