Shattered Lance Aftershock Beastmaster - 30k armor and 3-4 mil dps

I’ve been playing a regen stacker BM with aftershocks utilizing hazelroot for 30+ stacks of thornshield and the shattered lance set for 1500% cold dmg on top of the 660% melee dmg that beastmaster already gets from aspect of the shark. You also get a base of around 220% increased attackspeed. I’m hoping a content creator sees this and runs with it to see how far it can go because I think it has some potential since I can only play a few hours a dayl. I was running frenzy totem but decided that maelstorm might help with the main drawback of this build: aoe and clear speed. (You will have 15-20 stacks of Gladiator of Lagoon from tempest strike for flat spell dmg) It also gives fenzy and haste. At level 82 in HC I do 1.4 mil dps with 30k armor when I’m hitting a boss and about 10k-15k armor during typical monolith combat. This comes from hazelroot combined with the insane attack speed of this build. You need 3 idols with a combined 100% aftershock chance but they are insanely easy to farm on COF with prophecies. I found about 40 of them in 2 hours. Here’s the build:

How do you know your dps? or are you just reading the number on the skill tooltip?

It would be interesting to learn about the strategy - how your build works in general. I still haven’t figured it out. You say you’re dealing damage in sprigan form, but why are there skills that can’t be activated in it?

He doesn’t, he’s using Spriggan form to buff Thorn Shield which he gets from Hazelroot when he uses Tempest Strike. He’s also having to manually cast Maelstrom to get up to 6 stacks, though it will proc on hit versus bosses.

Oh, thnx. why are there so many minion boosts in the build? For the crab from the ring?

Because it’s a Primalist & they have an aweful lot of “dual use” passives. The only passive that is exclusively minion/Companion that the OP took is Natural Bond which is weird as the build has no companions…

The ring will be for swiftness & to give a minion for the damage redirect from the chest.

Agreed on swiftness. But crab is too squishy to be used as dmg sponge. Even in heavily minion focused builds it dies in a blink of an eye at c500+
