Shaman's Lodestone passive not increasing Elemental Protection

Detailed description: Shaman’s Lodestone passive is supposed to increase both Armor and Elemental Resistance (Cold, Fire, Lightning) after casting a spell. I have 5 ranks in it so it gives me 40% Armor / Elemental protection. When I cast Tornado, I can see my armor jumps from 91 to 148 but all my Elemental protection stays the same.

What were you doing at the time? just looking at my character sheet
