Here is a list of changes i’d like to see to the shaman class.
Tags
- Add lightning damage to maelstrom default tags.
Maelstrom Changes
- The creation of a new talent that shifts maelstrom to lightning damage.
- Violent Squall redesigned into an ability that gives significant range increase and infinite duration (always active).
- Eye of the storm has its reduced radius modifier removed. In its place now adds mana per a second cost (3 + 2 per rank; 3 base (1 talent)
Storm Totem
- Add to blizzard the shift of damage from lightning to cold damage and the scaling.
- Add a new talent that enables the shaman to maintain the passive benefits (ie things that you get from the talents like Stormrider) of totem while moving or make it so that the teleport on ravens will drag all pets so that totem will replace when you teleport at the target location (or both)
- Stormrider now always applies its movement speed instead of applying it when shocking a target.
Tornado
- Shift the fire talent arm to frost with spell and cold scaling
Tempest Strike
- Warm Shelter, Calm Seas, Grounded Pressure
Avalanche
- Add a new Talent near storm totem that converts the damage of avalanche into lightning and scales off it.
Earthquake
- Merge Deep Impacts benefits into buffet
- Creation of a new ability where deep impact existed shifting damage to cold and scaling off cold and spell modifications.
