Can the swipe node for claw totem be changed from ‘on kill’ to ‘on hit’?
For the life of me I can’t figure out why I would want a claw totem after everything is already dead…
Longer version
Claw totems are not very useful in their current form. Changing the swipe tree claw totem option from ‘ok kill’ to ‘on hit’ would allow the player to get some help from the claw totem when fighting hard battles (i.e. boss fights, trash mobs are not hard atm). It also makes things more consistent (why would I want a range ability when I’m focused on melee with swipe?).
Balancing concerns with this change
- the following passives will be affected, as they are dependent on the # of totems the character has in play: Protective Circle, Storm Blade
- with may allow the dropping of the thorns totem skill in melee builds, which will open up more build options, but can also unbalance melee shaman builds
