Hello friends, those of you who play as a rogue and like shadow dagger builds, don’t you think it’s a shame that the Lethal darkness point in the umbral blades skill tree is in such a bad place that you simply can’t play it any other way? Wouldn’t it be more interesting if the Lethal darkness was in a place where it can use more build options?
I think it’d be hilariously overpowered if the combo applied 2/6/6/14 stacks of Shadow Dagger, and I think that you still have the option of sword recall vs exploding vs bladestorm. It’s a little disappointing that exploding bladestorm outperforms the others by as much as it does, especially if you have shadow generation, but with the infinite smoke bombs gone it’s back to earth a bit.
If we want to push other playstyles, reducing the synergy between bladestorm and explosions and some boosts to the recall nodes (the ward on recall and the less damage throwing ones stand out) would do this much more effectively than just making exploding non-sword the new dominant setup.
