Shadow Cascade - Dagger Dance - no melee attack

When you take the Porcupine’s Wrath node, Shadow Cascade “no longer includes a melee attack”.

I’m confused on if other nodes in the tree will apply. I think it’s save to say if the node says “deals more melee damage” or “more melee crit chance”, then those are not going to apply.

But there are many nodes that don’t specifically call out the melee attack. For example, “Shadow Cascade has a chance to shred enemy armor”…Does that work for the daggers?

Yes, it should. Also all other sources of bonuses for melee will be useless as skill is no longer a (tag) melee, but throwing
