Hello. Take a look at this build. It has a helmet with all set bonusses unlocked. But he only has one set item. I looked on the internet to find out how he does that but i can’t find a good anwer. So does anyone know how he does that?
It doesn’t have all set bonuses unlocked. It may feel that way due to how Dammit designed the UI, but if you hover the helmet you’ll see that under “Sunforged Set” only one is highlighted.
The UI Dammit created doesn’t toggle the set bonuses on/off, just the set pieces. It can be confusing that way, but if you just guide yourself by the set pieces part you should get it right.
In this case, that build is only using the affix itself and not the set bonus. One could argue that you could seal a T1 set affix in the body armor just so you could get a free +3 to Smelter’s Wrath, but it’s not worth getting the full set because you’d have to either give up Clothos’s needle for an exalted weapon or you’d have to give up one of the rings for the new primordial set ring.
