HOW hard is it to say how long before the restart is happening instead of some weird time + weird time zone stuff??? first time i have ever just seen a clock time and no countdown, or how long until the restart.
When the f is 5:20 CDT???

Google is a great option. Times are exact, no matter when you read the message. I am sure in the future they will localize it

To be fair, i agree with OP, but yeah they didnā€™t phrase very politley.

I think a rough estimate at the end of the announcement like ā€œThis will be in roughly XX minutesā€ would be enough.

Yeah that would be a good feature but googling 5:20 PM CDT literally showed the time for timezone.

Any idea how long do these stuff take?

It is only a server sided hotfix, you can instantly play again.

I am actually trying to help, since you need something to work in the meantime.

Do ā€œCDT timeā€ in google, it will give the current time, if it says 5:15PM and restart says 5:20PM, then its in 5 minutes.

Would be good to have 2 things:
Time until restart
Expected downtime

Actually a third would be a popup of some description if you login just before a server restart to say thereā€™s about to be one. I logged in, started a cemetery and then got the chat message about it with 10 mins until restart. I like to go slow and take my time, but had to rush this one

Dropped 60 bucks on a supporter pack 3mins before i even knew the hotfix to happen just to get stuck in loading :slight_smile:

Yeah they did say a time and google is our friend all of that is true but i still do believe that a quick timer would be way better, still at least they gave us a heads up so thats a W.

Insane time to do that, and i am not talking about restart seems faster than 13 minutes right now. More like server crash :confused:
