people cry about everything, its a patch on a weekday morning, its the best time to do it, most people should be working at this time of day. and Iām sure their employees have schedules just like everyone else does that has a job

Contrary to what the tooltip says, offline mode IS affected by this downtime. Iām clicking āPlay Offlineā and Iām greeted with the LE-52 error.
Not a long time until the servers are back up, but just letting you know, in case thereās a sneaky bug where the game is checking for server status when it shouldnāt.

Can you play with your online Charakter in this offline mode?
Otherwise you have to Start the Game on SteamPopUp in Offline Mode. Than you can play but not using your online Charakters.
My character is 100% offline because I didnāt want to deal with server hiccups and I play SSF anyway. Not an online character issue.
Starting the game when Steam is in Offline Mode just brings up a screen that says STEAM CONNECTION REQUIRED.
You have to launch the game in offline mode. You canāt use the offline button that is in the online mode as that is a different offline mode.
There should be a way to copy over progression from online to offline so we can continue playing while the servers are down. I am not expecting the offline data to sync back to online, thatll be a cake for all those bad actors out there.
Just a temporary doodling around while the servers come back up with our characters without any of the cosmetics is absolutely fine.
I am loving this game btw, i will be here for a long time.

If you do not get the option to picke between online and offline mode when you click play in steam you can go to the cog to the far right of the play button and select properties then look for the selected launch option drop down.
You dont need to put Stream in Offline Mode. Just the Game, when you hit Play (Steam has to be online)
If you dont get an Option to pick ā follow GamingCthulhuās advise

Thank you EHG. The update is absolutely amazing. Best ARPG atm. The fast responses to fixing issues and QOL changes is truly remarkable. Keep crushing it.
They only take them down down if there is a major problem (like an economy crashing exploit). EHG normally does near transparent server side patches, which is a significant technological feature.

Seriously, Steam is the main way people get info on their games (first) not the GameForum or TwitterFeeds.
Maintenance and other server related things should have a āNews/Notice/Featured postā on the Library main page for the game, like a lot of other games do.
Itās very bad communication to launch the game, only to find out itās in maintenance after loading to login screen.
