At least we know how long the patch is gonna take nowā¦
According to them, 2.5 hours. I had to look it up for Alaska time too. Suuuuucks! Was gonna play a bit before work. Definitely puts a dampener on my morning :(. It mustāve been something pretty bad to do such a quick and unplanned maintenance though.

Just bought the game and even cleared time in my schedule to play. Got 30 minutes in without any server issues, and now Iām stuck waiting for hoursā¦ 
A heads-up a couple of hours in advance ā wouldāve been really appreciated, especially for a maintenance this long.

china is also in prime time,its 21:30,i cant image how many bro make their wife to sleep ,and just sit on desk,andā¦boom!
You manage to remind us to visit the online cash shop every 15 minutes or so but cannot lets us know in good time when the servers are going down for maintenance, piss poor.

Itās always āprime timeā somewhere in the world. If they did it at off-prime time for EU, it would be prime time in Oceania or in USA or in Japan. Name a better time for them to do it without interfering with someoneās prime time?
They have several of servers on different continents,maybe they could maintenance in different sever at different time?i dont know

If they did that, they would have server version mismatches which could cause issues for cross server interactions. AFAIK, the bazaar / MG isnāt based on the server youāre playing on. Just a single example. Iām not being a bootlicker, I just know that (from a networking perspective) it is easier to maintain and update everything at once - even if it inconveniences a few areas for 3 hours or so.
I know that it sucks, but they are a small team still (less than 50 last I heard?) and to do it spread through out the entire day would mean that they would have a few individuals working a 24 hour shift to update servers.

That said, I would like to be able to read the patch notes that will be coming out later today with over 130 changes. I wonder if any of them are to bring VK / Paladin more in line with anyone else due to āunintended interactionsā as they arenāt doing ānerfsā midseason (which is another failure, there should totally be nerfs to bring a build in line with the rest considering how easy it is to re-build a class and re-skill up / re-gear up in this game.

And in fact, Iād prefer them to strengthen the underdog classes, which is something that no other mainstream dlike game has done
