You manage to remind us to visit the online cash shop every 15 minutes or so but cannot lets us know in good time when the servers are going down for maintenance, piss poor.

It’s always ‘prime time’ somewhere in the world. If they did it at off-prime time for EU, it would be prime time in Oceania or in USA or in Japan. Name a better time for them to do it without interfering with someone’s prime time?
They have several of servers on different continents,maybe they could maintenance in different sever at different time?i dont know

If they did that, they would have server version mismatches which could cause issues for cross server interactions. AFAIK, the bazaar / MG isn’t based on the server you’re playing on. Just a single example. I’m not being a bootlicker, I just know that (from a networking perspective) it is easier to maintain and update everything at once - even if it inconveniences a few areas for 3 hours or so.
I know that it sucks, but they are a small team still (less than 50 last I heard?) and to do it spread through out the entire day would mean that they would have a few individuals working a 24 hour shift to update servers.

That said, I would like to be able to read the patch notes that will be coming out later today with over 130 changes. I wonder if any of them are to bring VK / Paladin more in line with anyone else due to ‘unintended interactions’ as they aren’t doing ‘nerfs’ midseason (which is another failure, there should totally be nerfs to bring a build in line with the rest considering how easy it is to re-build a class and re-skill up / re-gear up in this game.

And in fact, I’d prefer them to strengthen the underdog classes, which is something that no other mainstream dlike game has done
they were starting to get laggy for the first time last night. do what ya gotta do!
It seems unusual to shut down the servers without any warning and then announce that a patch is coming 4 hours later but not give any patch notes.

Why can’t I continue playing with my online character in offline mode? I thought I could just select my online character when playing offline, but I don’t have that option – I have to create a new one.
ye you can not do this. becasue your online character is part of ladder/trading etc. and in offline you can use cheats etc. so ye its different things
My game keeps saying I am having internet connection issues for offline mode but I dont…anybody else having the same issues?
Try playing with steam in offline mode

you need to use real offline not the fake one. just google about it. you will found out

they should just have you play offline when you click the play offline link. true or not. put in a re-direct so ppl don’t have to root around the steam settings

agree. it seems like its not their 1st prio tho. thats why its still not added. having 2 offline modes is kinda strange tho.ye

Go watch some streamer and pretend it’s your character. You can even simulate using your mouse and keyboard
Or, you can always play in true-offiline mode, if the situation is that hard to handle for you.
