Rebuke
This would be a better-feeling and much more generally useful ability if it had a long cooldown instead of a channel. Eg
→ an instant cast buff for 2s of 50% DR, 18s cooldown. Maybe a mild penalty to AS and MS.
That way it can be relevant to a lot more diverse builds and situations. I think promoting wider use of defenses and buffs with a low uptime/reactive nature would be really good for LE’s combat flow overall.
You also get a lot of space for interesting nodes that can take it in different directions eg. increasing MS to make it a mid-fight repositioning tool, or applying the retaliation bonus to your other skills used in the duration, or adding back a channel/MS and AS penalty to get the “stand still and take no damage” style it supports now. It would also be nice for the retaliation to be based on (pre-reduction) incoming damage rather than hits so it works vs bosses.
Void Cleave
Add a node that removes the movement component, maybe also increasing the attack area to a full circle around you. The reason is that the movement can make it very awkward to use Void Cleave together with continuous attacking abilities that don’t make it convenient to line up a correct distance positioning every 3 seconds. This is an unfortunate limitation to the versatility of the ability which is already very specialised due to the weapon restriction.
→ Alternatively, rework the travelling to a bit more controlled, so it will reduce the distance to only move you into reach of your target rather than clipping you through/inside them.
→ (removing the step in exchange for 360 AoE would still be an interesting node to have for builds that don’t need it)
Add nodes that lighten up the weapon restrictions in exchange for some penalty or slightly altering the ability’s function. For instance “Void Thrust” could open the ability up to Spears, turn the area into a more linear shape and convert +area modifiers to +travel distance. Maybe maces could get a smaller circular AoE in front of you instead of an arc. Using the ability with a 1h weapon could halve the area and double the cooldown.
Javelin
It’s awkward that none of the interesting transmuters are compatible with each other. It’s not clear why that is in some cases. Adding some new compatibilities could diversify Javelin with 1 or 2 really interesting (but not obviously OP) build paths.
Spiked Bombardment should add additional barrage Javelins if you have Battle Standard.
Holy Trail should leave a circular “trail” in the landing area if you have Siege Barrage/Battle Standard. (but stack its cooldown increase with Battle Standard)
It would be nice if Divine Fury could also be compatible with Siege Barrage, but I’m not sure how. Maybe the lightning spears could become single target and fire from above at random targets on each cast.
