It looks like he has no helmet equipped but it is equipped in inventory and the stats should also apply. But it looks like appearance is hidden.
I think the visuals just not get loaded when you enter a new zone.

I have experienced the same.
Same issue, offline. But it only happens when I enter the game. Re-equipping helmet fixes it until I enter the game from main menu again.
Still happening to me everytime I switch zone I lose my helmet… I think it has been like this since the beta…
