Sentinel knockback on Primeval Dragon

Bug: While fighting Primeval Dragon, after their windup fire AOE attack by using Lunge to re-engage followed by Warpath with Ephemeral Stance the dragon can be knocked back at least half the arena for about a second.

Tried it twice during the fight, knocked the dragon back to the upper right corner. Worked both times. Not sure which skill specifically is responsible, and I have no knockback nodes in Warpath or Lunge (Don’t know if there are any, just want to cover my bases). During the fight, would deactivate Ephemeral Stance and use Rive when out of mana. Using Avarice and Bleeding Heart for uniques, all else are rares without knockback (Again, not sure if that’s an affix, just checked to make sure there wasn’t any on my gear). Let me know if I can provide any additional information to help isolate this – Account is WilliamMacEiden on Steam, character is Minderwaigh.

Thanks!

I noticed this as well. Fighting the Primeval Dragon with Warpath allows you to knockback it although no such nodes are allocated anywhere. I also had Ephemeral Stance activated. Seems to be a known issue: Primeval dragon pushed with warpath

Another enemy that you can also push back with Warpath is Admiral Harton. Considering that both the Primeval Dragon and Admiral Harton are very large enemies, the size of the enemy could be another piece of the puzzle.

Interesting. I didn’t encounter it when I fought Admiral Harton, but it’s worth noting I was no longer using Ephemeral Stance or Lunge. Maybe Ephemeral Stance is the piece to look at?

I tested it against Admiral Harton again and the issue might be completely unrelated to Warpath and Ephemereal Stance. What I noticed instead is that maybe while casting/channeling a spell, you are able to simply push (big?) enemies away.

I captured a video of it here: https://imgur.com/a/eSQY6I7

It’s a known issue that warpath currently pushes back large targets.

I suspect I was too specific in my search for other posts – I was specifically searching for knockback on the Dragon and didn’t find any others. Glad to hear this is a known issue. Thanks!
