Smite, when procced via thrown skill (Keen 2x2 idol), does not trigger Fissure.
There is no wording indicating that Fissure should not work here, so I am unsure whether Fissure is intended to be direct-cast only or not.
I tried with Shield Throw, and it was not working.
I will try to take Fissure, log out then log back in, and see if it changes anything.
Fissure does have a cooldown, but apart from that it should trigger when Smite is used (regardless of how Smite is used).

Just tested; it didn’t work in the instance where I took the node, but after changing instances it started working correctly.
Huh.
Edit: and it’s not even consistently not working; sometimes it works instantly, sometimes it bugs out just for the instance in which it was taken.
