i’m not sure if it’s not applying, or if it’s just not showing on the dps indicator. however putting points into it did not cause any adjustment on erasure strike despite it being a melee move.
although if it’s supposed to exclude any non-forge guard skills then the description needs an update since it just mentionals any melee skill rather than forge guard exclusive.
It may not be displaying on the tooltip, the devs replied to a similar post that it was working just not updating the tooltip.
After the post I did some dummy testing and I never did more damage than what the tooltip said aside from a crit. Ranged from 1800 to 2800 over about 40 uses and tooltip says 2972
Seems like it just isn’t applying at all, and since I invested 4 points it would be 2% per mana point at 80 mana cost which should be a notable increase at my level.
To make sure I’m going to save up a couple skill level points and increase both the mana and passive by several at one time and test before and after.
I would have expected the tooltip to have already factored that in though.
After some thinking, you could just respec out of Crushing Blows & see if that changes the tooltip of the skill.
Edit: Having tried this, I had no change in the tooltip dpsof 1,990 for Forge Strike (35 mana cost) with 6 points in Crushing Blows & zero points. However my actual hit damage did increase a fair bit with points in the node, I was getting ~ 1.1-1.7k hits without Crushing Blows & 1.9-2.6k hits with 6 points in Crushing Blows.
Same I was hoping that was the only thing that glitched when I saw it not moving after putting points in, but it just wasn’t working at all as far as I could see x.x
I’ve already confirmed the tooltip doesn’t change at all when points are placed in. However unlike forge strike the skill I used, erasure strike, didn’t seem to have any adjustment, and it should have been even more pronounced than forge strike.
I tried it with Erasing Strike as well, I was getting ~1.1-1.4k hits without any points in Crushing Blows and ~1.8k-2.4k with.
When I get back I’ll completely despec and respec to test and make sure, ty for testing it.
