Sentinel Bugs While Fighting Lagon

While fighting against Lagon as a Sentinel, I experienced what I believe to be a few bugs:

  1. Forge strike never generated any Forged Weapons (it’s a bit hard to tell if Lagon was being hit because of his health bar, but he was getting ignited upon the skill being used)
  2. Shield Throw was thrown to a distance where (with point in Aegis), it could not bounce off allies while having manifest armour spawned.
  3. A number of health potions appeared very far back to the back of Lagon in an unreachable location
  4. Could not cast Lunge on Lagon.

From the best I can tell, most of these could be explained by Lagon’s hitbox being very far back. Lagon was still taking damage, and was still eventually killed (presumably through Manifest Armour attacks and Forge Strike hits).

This occurred during the campaign fight against Lagon.

If I encounter Lagon as a Monolith boss I will record if anything different happens.

Bingo… Its actually far back and way below the platform your character is on…

Everything you describe are well known issues with Lagon that the devs have not yet addressed.

There are various workarounds (sometimes hokey) - like aiming for the edge of the platform right in front of Lagon, not on Lagon himself… that tend to help to varying degrees… but it can be a pretty frustrating fight for certain builds that have skills that dont entirely work as they should against him.

So, thanks for the post, and yes, the devs know about these issues, they just havent fixed them yet…
