Selling on the Bazaar, Needs Major Attention

I understand it’s a new system and will likely get some updates but it is extremely difficult to get price checks or stat checks on your items to sell or buy on the bazaar.

Filtering by tiers instead of item stat numbers is not a good idea (same for loot filtering) most people are not going to know what t1-t7 stats are for those affixes. It’s much easier to say I want 10+ Health on an item, compared to “I want T1 health or wait is it T2?”

Blanketed minimum tier search for all stats is bad design (same with loot filter). Tiers needs to be separated for each stat. Let’s say I want to view a specific item with cold damage at Tier 6, Crit damage Tier 2, and Elemental Resistance Tier 5 so I can see how much those are selling for so I can list my item for a comparable price. This is not possible with the existing system. We need an option for individual tier filtering for each stat.

You should be able to view your inventory maybe even stash while searching the bazaar. Its very annoying to want to cross reference your items stats from an item in your inventory then having to click “back” then re-enter all your filters again to see the item in the bazaar since the filters reset every time you leave the merchant search page. The bazaar should not reset filters if you leave the main page whether you click “list an item” or “my stall”.

You should not have to click “more” button constantly for filters. The UI blocks the top items in the bazaar. Just make the “more” UI expanded by default since you are almost ALWAYS using the “more” tab.

Sorting options need have by certain stats, not just by gold amount and newest.

Prefix and Suffixes need to be labeled and separated in the filters.

Make a search box. So we can just type what items we are looking for instead of having to click a bunch of times, when we could have just typed it in a search box.

You should be able to right click on any Unique items in your inventory/stash and have it auto search the item on the bazaar since the item properties are fixed.

Traveling to merchants is very annoying having to walk to one side of the bazaar to go to the idol merchant than taking 15 seconds to walk to the wands to visit the wand merchant then going back to your stash etc. All the merchant’s items should be accessible from 1 person with all the proper filters instead of running to 10 different merchants for each specific item.

6 Idol Merchants… Just make 1 merchant for all trading.

This game is only for PC and yet the bazaar feels built for consoles. I can’t imagine how bad it feels using a controller to sell something on here.

I love trading on PoE and D2 (d2jsp) however, I would say LE trading system is not in a great state. I have over 50 items I have been waiting to sell on the bazaar but after seeing it’s current state I should have just went SSF.

The process I’m currently using, which involves capturing an item’s image with the Snipping Tool for listing and then manually comparing it with Bazaar listings on a second monitor, really underscores a significant inefficiency in the system. A more streamlined approach is desperately needed. If there were a feature that allowed me to directly search for an item from my inventory in the Bazaar, it would dramatically enhance my user experience. Such functionality wouldn’t just simplify the pricing and listing process; it would also enable me to manage my transactions much more effectively and efficiently, eliminating the need for the cumbersome workarounds I’m currently forced to resort to.
The Bazaar UI is rushed for sure, and almost unusable, at least in the long run and with many items. It will force people not to use it, which is sad to see as trading is a great part of ARPGs.

100% agree. The system needs this and they should also remove the favor cost for selling items, so we can just sell whatever we want, you should never not allow somebody to sell something, makes the market have fewer items and eventually become not worth it over going CoF, i had to change because of this.

how can i search for an idol with a minimum % when they are all T1 and you can only filter by tiers… it’s just dumb !!

Yeah at least the loot filter issue can be solved by applying multiple rules. The bazaar has a serious problem that needs fixed with tier specification and affix range specification. Heck, affix specification for uniques would be great too cause there’s so many pages of uniques now and its difficult to find one with a good roll without scrolling dozens of pages.

I’m okay with them consolidating the idol merchants, but separating the others doesn’t sound like the end of the world.

Yeah puttin the search box in the drop down list within a drop down list wasn’t necessary. They could have just put a spot immediately upon opening the window in the upper right.

I’m pretty sure they might be separating the stalls to reduce the amount of items being loaded when you open the auction house IMHO. This might be the only feature of the bazaar that makes sense.
