Not that I hate monolith, but sometimes I don’t want it and wanna play arena instead. People shouldn’t be forced to play specific end-game mode.
Also there is not much things what you can do with gold anyway (if you are lazy to gamble for hours).

I’m not too fussed about it myself, but I do think that the arena should have a chance at refunding the key as a drop at the final wave you complete. The higher the wave count, the higher the chance?
At least reward players that spend a LOT of time in arena to reach 100/200+ waves. when you spend that long in an arena, it can suck to then have to go speed run 5 monoliths so that you can try again…
Maybe you can make the droprate in the arena a percentage. For the tenth wave, you have a ten percent chance of a drop. It goes from there in tens to 100, where you get a guaranteed drop. Maximum could be 200 where you get two keys.
I like this idea. Could be fun challenge. And would more meaningful to go deeper in the Monolith. Because right now the deeper you are, the more time you need for farm a key, since hard stage takes more time.
