Because I genuinely believe that:

Is feedback and conducive to the conversation. But if you never see feedback because it contradicts your personal feelings. You’ll never grow.

I have never had a problem with feedback, opinions or discussions. I look forward to them especially when they are engaging and receptive to the information. I block forum warrior trolls that derail threads. There isn’t a reason to not block bad actors on the forums.

I always give everyone a fair chance till they prove who they really are. Why waste time when they do it over and over. Make sense, good.

Translation: Dude gives everyone a chance to become his echo chamber, and blocks those who won’t become that.

That is demonstrably false. You don’t have a problem with feedback, opinions or discussion until it contradicts your own & is sincerely held by someone who does not share the same reason or mindset for gaming. Unless someone is a hardcore “nolifer” (for want of a better term) you do dismiss them as not pertinent or less knowledgeable than yourself.

Pretty much. Then gets on his high horse about the people he blocks being “bad actors” to justify being an arse. Sounds like a totally reasonable action to me!! If only there were a word to describe this kind of behaviour. I’m sure there is one, something about hippos & crits?

Well…well…well… At least there is mastery respec so you can play VK and Paladin which looks amazing in Season 2 then switch to Forge Guard after you acquire all the gear. It’s just really disappointing that Forge Guard passive tree didn’t get a rework and it’s the tree that needed it the most.

I get what they did with the new Forgemaster skill with 2hand and shield as the last node taking this node buffs several nodes early in the tree. Except playing Forge Guard would be miserable until you get this node and there is no reason to play Forge Guard unless you take this node.

Let me be clear I’m overly excited about the Sentinel changes and rework. Paladin looks compltely busted both offensively and defensively now. VK has tons of cool tech and the skill rework is amazing!! It just sucks Forge Guard didn’t get any love at all. It just got 1 node.

I do think there will be some powerful Manifest Armor/Forged Weapons builds don’t get me wrong. I just think the mastery is really really lacking compared to what was just revealed. Anyone who wants to play Forge Guard won’t start as Forge Guard unless you are a masochist. The whole tree is pretty bad and is propped up by 1 node and this set.

On the flip side just made a build planner for Paladin and I want to take at least 80 points in there because there is so much amazing synergy. So many 5pt notables. I can’t bring myself to put even 1 point in Forge Guard. You will want to put 5 points in VK in just about any build still because Abysal Endurance is crazy strong.

Which again why doesn’t Forge Guard have an equivalent of Abysal Endurance? Or anything Paladin has?

So my season starter will now be Paladin and I’ll wait till I have enough points to switch mastery to take the mandatory node and test it some forge guard tech. Just crazy that’s the play and it didn’t recieve any huge changes because Forge Guard needed it the most.

At least Paladin will be just completely wonky and probably go from one of the squishier classes to perhaps the tankiest with the endurance scaling tech, vengeance and holy aura/symbols of hope (which paladin has a passive to buff these skills)

I’ve been looking at these set affixes as well, looks like T7 is only +12 fire damage per weapon which is disappointing, and make it harder to get T7 as a crafting-only affix (Rune of Havoc?).

I think the main benefit you would get over the Set hammer is you could get T7 attack speed, e.g. in sealed affix via imprinting and then the other prefix is high fire damage or another flat. And also a better base which adds a lot of flat phys

I think the 75% attack speed the exalted/sealed item probably outpaces the set mace but it’s disappointing the damage is so gutted comparitively.

I think Titan Heart is likely better than the 3 piece set bonus so I would probably run that and just 2 piece with a craft helmet with the set affix.

I think titan heart, 2h, and a shield would just be nuts. Haven’t figured out how to maintain mana for no-cooldown Forge Strike, so might try to main Multistrike, Rive, Warpath, or ideally Vengeance. But I think without scaling attunement Vengeance might not sustain the 12 forged weapons.

That’s still alot of flat it’s 180 flat damage. Also 375% fire damage.

Thought about that but really hate no regen on that item and Regen is kinda our thing now.

I’m actually using the Mantle armor which is 20+% dmg redirected to my Manifest armor.

I’m using vengeance, just started with my FG build at only 25 attunement it’s fine (way better than any other option and if iron blade passes through multiple mobs several forged weapons will spawn) also you just need 40 attunement for 100% chance on iron blade which I’m gonna try and do. As of now not using the set and going pure minion build with this.

To highlight how good vengeance is I’ve summoned 4-5 forged weapons with 1 press of vengeance on good density. You can’t get that with things like warpath takes so long of just spinning for 1.

The sunforge set I feel is if you are trying to do significant damage instead of your minions. I’ll test some ideas with it latter but I really like the new Champion affix has void cleave and flat damage. So I got 2 mobility charges huge flat dmg on a sealed and just buffing my minions to destroy. Seems strong so far and you got tons of flat dmg.

Void cleave requires non-mace though so you can’t get the flat, but I guess if you are going minion you don’t need it.

Edit: Oh I see you don’t need the set at all. I’ll probably try that if my self-damage version fails.

I got T7 sunforged affix on a hammer but it only got T1 attack speed and lost all potential in the havoc spam. Going to see if I imprint it in my tree if items will drop with sealed sunforged affix – I am guessing not

The champion affix is extra charge of void cleave and 75 flat dmg on a sealed affix. I can then get flat minion on the suffix, then flat on the prefix and attack speed. It’s the highest flat dmg option for a weapon to buff minions.

I think the set can be powerful but it’s more buffing you, your ignites, fire damage etc. So it’s just a different play style. The set has likely more ways to play than pure minion.

Yea that’s what I’m hearing from people lot more RNG. Where it’s way easier to get a T7 Champion affix and craft on it which is what I did. I got an axe with sealed 73 flat damage.
